Almencard 2011

30 Alpine meadows, 3 lift facilities, 1 Alpine region: you can experience all of this with the Almencard.

When you arrive in the family-friendly Alpine region of Gitschberg Jochtal, you will receive your personal Almencard, the only one of its kind. With it, you can enjoy a variety of services right from the first day of your holiday: many lift facilities are available during your stay. In addition, you have a choice between guided cultural and mountain hiking trips, Nordic Walking, as well as mountain bike tours. For the little ones, there is a climbing course, knight games and visits to farmhouses on the agenda.



The Almencard is free between 31th May and 18th October 2011.

In order to use the card while staying in region, you need to it with you all the time and present it at the lift facility, the event or our relevant partners.


The Almencard offers you 16 inclusive services:
1. Gitschberg cable car
2. Jochtal cable car
3. Rio di Pusteria/Mühlbach-Maranza/Meransen cable car
4. Panoramic walk at Maranza/Meransen
5. Farm to farm tour in the valley Val di Fundres/Pfunders
6. Bee stories – everything about honey & bees
7. Cultural visit at the Mühlbacher Klause ruin
8. Historical cultural tour at Spinga/Spinges „Discovering Katharina Lanz“
9. Sun-rise hike in Valles/Vals (from mid June)
10. Hike through the golden autumn (mid September – mid October)
11. Krixly Kraxly climbing course for children from 5 to 9 years in Valles/Vals
12. „Kletterhetz“ climbing course for children from 10 to 14 years
13. Milk stories for children – everything about farms in Rodengo/Rodeneck
14. Knight games for children at the Mühlbacher Klause ruin
15. Excursion on horse-drawn sleigh for children in Maranza/Meransen
16. Discounts in shops, leisure facilities and museums

The above listed hiking trips and events take place on a weekly basis.
