There are no records in toboggan runs. It’s only fun. When the sledge glides over the crunching snow, both young and old are unstoppable.
The sunniest place for this sport is on the Rodeneck Alm: 1 kilometre of natural toboggan run on a soft downhill slope. A somewhat curvier and more demanding toboggan run can be found in Vals, in the ski region of Gitschberg-Jochtal: 180 degree bends drive adrenalin to your blood stream.
Our tip for night birds: moonshine runs in Stephansdorf (Kronplatz area) followed by a visit to the mountain restaurant Heidenberg.
