Small but still full of variety – this is how the landscape can be seen around Pfunders.
Marked by manor-like residences and farmhouses rich in tradition, it is ideal for extensive walks and hiking trips. There are well marked paths through fields and forests to high-altitude lookout points. Mountain hikers can discover the Pfunder high-mountain road, which leads up to the Hochfeiler mountain (3,510 metres).
During the winter, the area is very lively: all large ski resorts (Kronplatz, Plose, Gitschberg-Jochtal), as well as toboggan runs and cross-country trails are nearby.

If you prefer a somewhat quieter experience, enjoy some guided snow-show hiking trips on some nearly deserted mountain paths and see the mountain world from its romantic side.
