Beautiful, sunny and quiet, away from noisy traffic - this is the South Tyrolean mountain village of Rodeneck, hidden in meadows and fields, protected by Castle Rodenegg from across the Rienz canyon. The surrounding mountains offer additional protection and its location towards the South-West presents Rodeneck with a mild, dry climate and lots of sunshine.
Hiking lovers will have unlimited fun. There are many paths through soft meadows, fields and forests, extensive excursions to the Rodeneck Alm, as well as mountain hiking trips to the surrounding summits.
