By car

From the north: head south on the A13/A22 motorway via Innsbruck, then take the Brixen exit towards the Val Pusteria/Pustertal valley and follow the SS 49 to Vintl (Lodenwelt exit).
From the south: head north on the A22 motorway via Bolzano, then take the Brixen exit towards the Val Pusteria/Pustertal valley and follow the SS 49 to Vintl (Lodenwelt exit).
From the east: via Lienz to Sillian, across the Austrian-Italian border, and on the SS 49 to Vintl (Lodenwelt exit).

By train

Take the express train to Franzensfeste and change there to the regional train towards Innichen/Lienz. Your stop is Vintl in the Val Pusteria/Pustertal valley, from where it’s just a stone’s throw to us.

By plane

These airports are the best hubs for travelling to the Val Pusteria/Pustertal valley:
Bolzano (60km) and Innsbruck (90km) are the nearest, followed by Verona (200km) and Munich (270km). From there, you can continue comfortably to the Val Pusteria/Pustertal valley by hire car or train.

When can I check in and check out?

Your room will be ready for you from 2 p.m. On your departure day, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 10.30 a.m.

Is there a minimum stay?

During certain periods, there’s a minimum stay of at least 3 nights.

Is there parking at the hotel?

Yes, there’s a car park directly at the hotel. If you prefer to park under cover, you can book a garage parking space for an additional €8.00 per night.

What board options are available?

You can choose between breakfast and half board. Half board is available for stays of 3 nights or more and combines a generous breakfast buffet with a multi-course evening meal from our kitchen.

When is breakfast served?

A generous breakfast buffet awaits you in the mornings, featuring homemade jams, cakes, and much more – a great start to every day of your holiday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. 

When is the restaurant open?

Hot meals are served from 12 noon to 2 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9.15 p.m., pizza from 11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.

Are gluten-free or lactose-free dishes available?

Yes, just let our team know, and we’ll whip up suitable gluten-free or lactose-free dishes for you.

Can I eat at the restaurant even if I’m not staying overnight?

Of course! The restaurant and pizzeria are open to everyone at lunchtime and in the evening. It’s best to book your table in advance.

Can I buy products at the hotel to take home with me?

Yes, you’re welcome to take some of our favourites with you, such as delicious pastries from the patisserie or a fine bottle from the wine cellar. Just ask our team what’s currently available.

Are there any discounts for children?

Yes, tiered by age: children under 1 year of age stay free of charge, children aged 2 to 7 receive a 50% discount, and children aged 8 and over receive a 25% discount. Children’s rates apply when children are staying in a room with two full-paying adults.

Can I bring my dog on holiday with me?

Yes, your four-legged friend is very welcome. When registered in advance, your dog stays for €14.00 per night; for registration on arrival, the charge is €20.00 per night (for rooms with carpeted floors). Please bring your own food.

When is the spa area open?

Every day. We heat the saunas from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. in winter and from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. in summer.

How old do I have to be to use the spa area?

the spa area is a nude area and is therefore reserved for guests aged 16 and over.

Prices, payment, and cancellation

How much does it cost to book a room for single occupancy?

For single occupancy, a surcharge of €21.00 per night applies.

How much is the deposit?

Your room will be considered booked as soon as we receive a deposit of 30% of the total amount. You can pay by bank transfer or conveniently by credit card.

What payment options are available to me?

You can pay by debit card, Visa, or Mastercard. Cash payments are accepted up to the maximum amount legally defined in Italy.

What are the cancellation conditions?

You can cancel free of charge up to 6 weeks before arrival. After that, the fee increases in stages: 6 to 4 weeks in advance: 30%; 4 weeks to 1 week in advance: 50%; from 6 days before arrival and in the case of no-show: 100%. Travel cancellation insurance gives you extra peace of mind.

Is there a tourist tax to pay?

Yes, at a rate of €3.50 per person per night. Children under the age of 14 are exempt from this.
