We’re thrilled to announce that our LodenSpeck is finally here! And of course, it comes entirely from local, ethically raised, and environmentally friendly pigs. After all, only happy pigs make truly exceptional Speck.
The LodenSpeck acquires its unique, savoury flavour through a meticulous maturation process in the cellars of Pfunders. It originates from our Pietrain pigs at the Oberguggenbergerhof farm in sunny Montal, where the animals enjoy year-round free-range grazing and only the finest feed. Read more about this below. Even during the slaughtering process, we ensure a stress-free, familiar environment – because our animals are our top priority!

Totally local, ethically raised, and environmentally friendly
Enjoying meat with a clear conscience is our top priority. For Florian Winkler, the farmer at Oberguggenbergerhof farm near Val Gardena, the colourful Pietrain pigs are more than just pork and schnitzel. The careful rearing and the happy life that our little piggies lead at our partner farm can be tasted – we promise.
